TOWN OF COBOURG

Nestled along the shores of Lake Ontario, Cobourg is the largest town in Northumberland County. Founded in 1798, it is home to the historic Victoria Hall, which has been deemed a National Historic Site of Canada. Not only is Cobourg rich in history, but we are also home to one of the most beautiful beaches on Lake Ontario. Each Canada Day weekend, for almost 50 years, Cobourg becomes a booming tourist town with visitors wishing to attend the festivities. It certainly is a sight worth seeing! Cobourg’s location makes it a great option for those who wish to leave the hustle and bustle of city life for the retreat that a small town can offer.
